| december 12th... so I
woke up this morning to some sad news

bettie page is no longer with us. she passed yesterday in a hospital
in LA. anyone who knows me knows what a huge bettie page fan I am. her
spirit lives on in her pictures and in any of us who secretly(and not so
secretly) want to be a pin-up
girl. bettie page was, and will continue to be, my muse. be a bettie.

I met with jen at libertine(thanks widdi!!!) in little 5 points today. along with the already supercool stuff that the supercool libertine store has, they are now carrying Love Alison!!! how awesome is that!!! go check it out!!! right now!!! you aren't doing anything else besides reading my blog anyway ;) who doesn't love the vortex??? it's the coolest place in the coolest place... little 5 points!!! well imagine my surprise when we had dinner there a couple of weeks ago with some friends and when I got there they pointed out one of my art pieces hanging above the bar!!!!!!!!! see for yourself in the pics below if you haven't just read this and run out to the vortex yourself to see in person, which I highly recommend everyone doing... what are you waiting for???
